L'Area territoriale di ricerca di Torino ospita alcune sedi principali, locali o distaccate di Istituti di ricerca del CNR e gestisce i servizi generali di mensa, pulizie, vigilanza, giardinaggio e le infrastrutture, dagli impianti elettrici, termici e di condizionamento ai telefonici, nonche' della sala riunioni e la sala convegni.
L'Infrastruttura di rete del CNR Piemonte è gestita dall'Ufficio IT del CNR-IRCrES e si occupa di Reti Locali, Router, Web, Mail e Name server per i domini Internet per gli Organi di ricerca del CNR in Piemonte.
